Growing up in an ethnic household, skincare purchases were seen as a luxury that couldn’t be justified. So when we finally had our own money, we were excited to try the popular brands —only to find out they caused more problems then solutions. Irritation, acne, dark spots, you name it!
In our search for solutions, we realised we weren’t alone; many were frustrated, seeking affordable, effective skincare. Instead of waiting, we turned to our roots. Our mother’s homemade turmeric masks (passed down to her by her mum). It stained, it was messy, old-fashioned but undeniably effective!
Her concoction has become the foundation for our brand and vision.
